NAME: Rune B. Arrowney
DOB: May 6, 1997
AGE: 18
BREED: Beagle
ALLEGIANCE: Road Rovers
DESCRIPTION: Rune's ears are floppy like those of most beagles but seem to bob up a bit. In canine form, her fur is mostly short, but as a canosapien she has a long head of hair that extends to her waist, and her tail is much fluffier and longer then. Her fur is mostly a rusty brown color with a whitish muzzle. Rune's eye color is emerald, and her build is pretty much low. Most of the time she is seen wearing a random T-shirt and her favorite goldenrod shorts.
DEMEANOR: Rune is one of the calm, secluded types when she's in a small group, but fortunately in battle she's very energetic and highly active without one slow moment in her movements. She's not overly talkative, and not much of a doer, but she's almost always cheerful about something, and stays positive even in the hardest of times. I still can't figure out what Rune is thinking about much of the time, but I guess she's meant to be unpredictable.
SOME HISTORY: Rune's parents were sportive hunting dogs in northern England before the family moved to the United States, where they became more or less mere house pets. Even at an early age Rune never seemed to show the same sporting nature as her parents, which is quite abnormal since beagles are bred to be active canines. She was never much of a barker like her father, and was more shy than even her mother could get. Rune never really had the opportunity to make friends due to her master's paranoia about stray dogs. Rune took no heed to what her master and parents told her about New York and its dangers, and she took off one day into the streets to see for herself. Sure enough, she ended up being chased by a group of bulldogs when she accidentally intruded into their region. She was rescued by a black labrador before she became a carcass, and shortly thereafter he brought her to a pack of fellow strays that resided a few blocks from Radio City Music Hall, where she gained the acquaintences of a German Shepherd, a poodle, a sussex spaniel, and a Japanese Akita. This same pack was the one that Dylan and Zudnik liked to hang out with from time to time. About a month later Rune decided to return to her master and her parents. She became a whole lot more appreciated by them as a result of her exploits. Like Zudnik, the coming October of the next year was when she was summoned by the Master to serve as part of the Road Rover Special Task Force. She was overjoyed to see her friends again and to finally find meaning in her life.
SPECIAL POWERS: Oddly enough, Rune has super mental abilities that are superior to any known canine in the world. It's a bit strange that she possesses the ability to speak through telepathy to other Rovers, but not as odd as her abilities to conjure up spiritual flames for multiple uses and use a small amount of hypnosis. These can be very important powers when used at the right times and in the right places.
